Cover Supervisor
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £105 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work across a variety of schools in Nottingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in education, recent graduates, or individuals with experience in youth work or coaching. The role allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference in students’ learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
- Support students with questions and promote a positive learning environment
- Record attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff member
- Provide feedback to teachers and school leaders regarding student engagement
- Uphold the school’s values and expectations at all times
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Be flexible and willing to work across different subjects and key stages
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people or children in an educational or leadership setting, in support roles or classroom staff
- A degree or Level 3 qualification is desirable, but not essential
- Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments
- Passion for working with all aged students
- A current, updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
