Salary: £120 – £251 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will foster critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and a love for learning in every pupil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
- Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
- Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
- Have experience teaching Mathematics in secondary schools is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
