Salary: £90–£110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a nurturing setting in Seaford. This role offers the chance to work closely with young children, helping to develop their confidence, curiosity, and creativity from an early age.
Job Description:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be part of a caring early years team, creating a warm and stimulating environment for babies, toddlers, and preschool children. You will plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework while ensuring the health, safety, and emotional well-being of each child in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5 years.
- Plan and lead engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Observe and record children’s progress, identifying next steps for learning.
- Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
- Follow safeguarding policies and ensure the welfare of all children in your care.
- Support children with personal care needs in a respectful and sensitive manner.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a positive and inclusive nursery setting.
Requirements for the Role of Nursery Practitioner:
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is a plus.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and positive behaviour management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A kind, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
