Job Title: Primary Teacher – All Key Stages
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Long-term

GSL Education are actively seeking skilled and passionate Primary Teachers for a number of long-term opportunities across Derbyshire, covering Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Role Overview:
As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of pupils across your designated key stage. You’ll work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff to ensure every child achieves their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Uphold behaviour standards in line with school policy.
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is desirable.
  • Proven experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (specific placements can be arranged based on preference).
  • Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and a dedication to supporting young learners.
  • Have a CV covering the last 10 years (with explanations for any gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
