KS1 Primary Teacher - Bournemouth

Are you ready to inspire and lead a bright Year 1 class?

A welcoming and inclusive Business Mainstream Primary School in Bournemouth is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time KS1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a Year 1 class in a supportive environment that values both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals. The role starts in September 2025, and a school tour will be offered before progressing to a formal interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, tailoring support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 1.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to child safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
  • Applications welcomed from both early career teachers and experienced educators.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
