Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £98.94 – £114.84 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and experienced HLTA to support teaching and learning in Market Rasen. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for pupil progress and classroom support who is ready to take on greater responsibility within a school setting.

Role Overview:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons in collaboration with teaching staff, support individuals and small groups, and contribute to a positive learning environment across key stages.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Lead and manage groups of pupils independently.
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and assess pupils' progress.
  • Provide targeted intervention and classroom support where needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a productive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements for HLTA:

  • Hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification is desirable.
  • Prior experience in a primary or secondary setting.
  • Strong communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills.
  • ECTs welcome to apply!
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
