Job Title: Level 1 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Immingham
Salary: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work across schools in Immingham. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone eager to support pupils’ learning, build positive relationships, and contribute to a nurturing school environment.
Role Overview:
As a Level 1 TA, you will assist in supporting pupils’ day-to-day learning, help maintain an organised classroom, and work under the direction of teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support classroom activities and encourage pupil participation.
- Assist the teacher in preparing learning materials and resources.
- Help manage behaviour positively in line with school policies.
- Support individual pupils or small groups as directed.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements for Level 1 Teaching Assistant:
- Hold a Level 1 TA qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
- A warm, patient, and reliable approach to working with children.
- Willingness to learn and grow within an educational setting.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
