Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time – St Leonards

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Location: St Leonards
Salary: £90 to £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time

The Role:
You’ll support children aged 3–5 in a well-resourced nursery setting, working closely with the class teacher and early years staff. You'll plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework, build strong relationships with families, and help create a safe, stimulating space where little learners can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver developmentally appropriate activities and play-based learning

  • Support speech, language, and physical development

  • Provide emotional and behavioural support tailored to each child

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and inclusive environment

  • Observe, track, and share progress with colleagues and families

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting

  • A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 3 or equivalent preferred)

  • A patient, caring, and creative approach

  • Confidence supporting a range of early development needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
