EYFS Teacher
Location: Immingham
Salary: £120 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher passionate about shaping the first stages of a child’s educational journey? Do you thrive in a creative, play-based learning environment?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to work in welcoming and inclusive primary school settings in Immingham. The role is ideal for both experienced EYFS professionals and Early Career Teachers looking to gain valuable experience in early years education.

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and engaging EYFS lessons aligned with the Early Years Framework.
  • Support the personal, social, and emotional development of all children.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess progress using observation and tracking methods.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children's learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other early years staff.
  • Encourage exploratory play, early phonics, and foundational numeracy skills.
  • Support positive behaviour management strategies appropriate to EYFS.
  • Prepare indoor and outdoor learning spaces in line with curriculum goals.
  • Uphold all safeguarding and child protection policies.

EYFS Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with EYFS specialism.
  • Recent experience teaching in an EYFS setting is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A nurturing, patient, and child-centred teaching approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
