KS2 Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £120 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

About the role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support the progress and development of children in Key Stage 2. With a strong emphasis on behaviour management and inclusive learning, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing pupil growth and achievement.

As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and targeted lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic standards
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, colleagues, and senior leaders
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events
  • Support the school’s ethos, values, and safeguarding policies

KS2 Teacher Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (placement experience considered for ECTs)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
