Location: Cleethorpes
Rate: £88.94 to £114.84 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our vibrant team in Cleethorpes. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the educational journey of young learners in primary schools, providing them with the support they need to thrive.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support students with a range of additional needs. Your role will be vital in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Provide Targeted Support: Assist students with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Support the delivery of tailored learning strategies to meet each student’s unique needs.
- Monitor Progress: Observe and record student development, adapting support as needed.
- Collaborate with Staff and Specialists: Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support.
- Foster Inclusion: Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel safe and supported.
- Encourage Engagement: Use creative and adaptive methods to engage students and support their learning journey.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed notes on student progress, behaviour, and interventions.
Requirements of SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- Empathy & Patience: A nurturing approach and a genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
