Salary: £98.94 – £114.84 per day (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in delivering planned learning activities, supporting pupil progress, and stepping in for class teachers where needed. Your support will be vital to maintaining a high standard of education and inclusion across the school.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead small group sessions and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the teacher.
- Support pupils with diverse needs, including those with SEND.
- Assist in planning, preparation, and assessment under teacher guidance.
- Help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Foster good behaviour and a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life.
Requirements for HLTA:
- Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or have relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- ECTs welcome to apply.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
