Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher

Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a creative and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a supportive school in Cleethorpes. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to guide children through their early learning journey.

Role Overview:

As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, you will deliver play-based, engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, development, and well-being. You will be instrumental in laying the foundations for children’s future learning.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Track and support the progress of each child through observation and assessment.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and carers to ensure holistic development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding standards.

Requirements for EYFS Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
  • Specialism or strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum is desirable.
  • Previous experience in an EYFS setting preferred is desirable.
  • ECTs welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
