Cover Supervisor – Reading
Full-Time or Flexible Working | September Start
Looking to build classroom experience or enjoy a better work-life balance? We are recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Reading from September 2025.
This role is perfect if you are:

An ECT keen to gain experience and confidence before securing a long-term teaching post

A qualified teacher who prefers the flexibility of cover work without planning and marking

Someone with experience supporting young people who wants to take the next step in education
The Role:

Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher

Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively

Support students to stay on task and make progress

Cover a range of subjects with full guidance provided
