Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers who are passionate about fostering a positive learning environment.

Role Overview:

As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning styles, ensuring each child makes progress academically and personally. You will help build a classroom atmosphere that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teach the national curriculum, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Encourage pupil participation and maintain a supportive classroom climate.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and carers to promote best outcomes.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
  • Recent experience teaching in a primary setting.
  • ECTs welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
