Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher (KS 1)
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Grimsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to develop their teaching journey in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

Role Overview:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ developmental stages. You’ll play a key role in supporting young learners during a crucial stage of their academic journey.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach inspiring KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports individual progress.
  • Monitor pupil development and maintain effective assessment records.
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Requirements for KS1 Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting.
  • ECTs welcome to apply.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A child-centred and adaptable teaching approach.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
