Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £98.94 - £114.84 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting class teachers, leading lessons when required, and delivering targeted interventions. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the continuity of learning and fostering a positive classroom environment.
HLTA Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support whole-class teaching and provide focused interventions
- Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment
- Assist in planning, assessment, and classroom resource preparation
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide support for students with diverse learning needs
- Supervise pupils during break times and school activities
- Offer pastoral care and help manage student behaviour
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
- Uphold school policies and safeguarding standards at all times
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- HLTA status or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience working in a UK primary school setting as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or senior-level Teaching Assistant
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Have an updated CV and a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
