Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Barton-upon-Humber
Salary: £88.94 – £114.84 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 TA to join a supportive and inclusive school in Barton-upon-Humber. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting children’s academic and personal development in a rewarding environment.
Role Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will take on a more active and responsible role in the classroom, supporting both the class teacher and pupils. You will be expected to lead small group interventions, provide tailored 1:1 support, and occasionally cover planned lessons in the teacher’s absence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with varying learning needs across the classroom and in small groups.
- Prepare and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Assist in managing pupil behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support the wider school community.
Requirements for Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Proven experience supporting pupils in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
