PLMD TEACHER
Location: CHELMSFORD
Salary: £120-£350 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary
Are you a passionate and dedicated PLMD Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Chelmsford? GSL are looking for an enthusiastic PLMD Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive SEN school, working with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PLMD). If you are a committed PLMD Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of children, this could be the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities of a PLMD Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and adapted lessons to meet the needs of students with PLMD
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure each pupil's individual needs are met
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
Requirements for a PLMD Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons and materials for varying needs.
- A compassionate and patient approach.
