Full-Time Art & Design Teacher in Fareham, Hampshire!

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Art & Design (AD) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Fareham, Hampshire. This full-time position is set to commence in September 2025. The school welcomes both Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
Responsibilities of Art & Design (AD) Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and imaginative Art & Design lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Plan and implement a creative curriculum that encourages artistic expression and technical skill development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates creativity and individuality.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s creative arts provision.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, parent evenings, and ongoing professional development.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and contribute to students’ personal and artistic development.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements for Art & Design (AD) Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art & Design.
- Experience teaching Art & Design at Key Stage 3 and 4 (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and supporting students of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
