About the Role:

In this role, you will support pupils with SEMH, Autism, and other SEN by delivering personalised lessons and behavioural interventions. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure that each child’s needs are met with patience and care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering tailored learning activities for pupils with diverse needs.
  • Adapting teaching strategies to individual requirements and abilities.
  • Supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Tracking progress and modifying interventions accordingly.
  • Upholding safeguarding standards and creating a positive classroom atmosphere.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH or Autism.
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility in approach.
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit.
  • Willingness to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding training.
