Salary Range: £95 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a dedicated PE Support professional for a school in Sheffield, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120, depending on experience. This role is perfect for someone eager to help pupils build confidence, fitness, and teamwork.
You will assist PE teachers in delivering dynamic, inclusive physical education sessions, supporting pupils to improve their coordination, fitness, and enthusiasm for sport. Your involvement will help create a safe and encouraging environment where every pupil can thrive physically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of PE lessons and sports activities.
- Encourage pupils’ participation and foster a positive attitude towards physical activity.
- Help prepare equipment and maintain safety during sessions.
- Support pupils’ development of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Aid in organising school sports events and extra-curricular activities.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Experience supporting PE or sport-related activities with children or young people.
- Good understanding of physical education and the benefits of active learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate pupils across a range of abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
- Relevant qualifications or training in sports, PE, or related fields are advantageous.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
