Are you a nurturing and innovative Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher with a passion for supporting children's early learning and development? Do you enjoy creating stimulating, play-based learning environments that inspire curiosity and growth?

GSL Education are seeking a committed EYFS Teacher to join a dynamic school in Spalding. This flexible opportunity offers both short- and long-term placements and is ideal for educators dedicated to laying strong foundations for young learners. You will play a pivotal role in promoting holistic development and ensuring students gain a positive start to their educational journey.

About your role as an EYFS Teacher:

In this role of an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging Early Years curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. You will plan and implement structured play-based activities that support each child’s individual development. You will create a warm, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to explore.

We are looking for a creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher who can:

  • Plan and deliver lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework that support all areas of children’s development.
  • Create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment where children feel happy, confident, and ready to learn.
  • Use a variety of play-based and structured activities to encourage curiosity, communication, and social interaction.
  • Observe and assess each child’s progress regularly and use this information to plan future learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help children develop key life skills such as sharing, listening, and problem-solving.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a passion for early years education are also encouraged to apply.
  • A clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to apply it in the classroom.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.

As an ethical, inclusive, and independent recruitment agency, GSL Education are committed to providing quality teaching and supporting staff in schools across the UK.
