Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Spalding
Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Spalding. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are ready to inspire and support young learners.

Role Overview:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment, delivering lessons that engage pupils and support their academic and personal development. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to help each child reach their full potential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff and parents to ensure individual learning needs are met.
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage pupil independence.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desireable.
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting is desirable but not essential for ECTs.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
