SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Willenhall
Location: Wolverhampton (Willenhall)
Start Date: September 2025 (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (Temp to Perm Potential)
Pay: £95 - 100 per day
GSL Education are looking for a Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school provision in Willenhall starting this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced individual who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading lessons, delivering curriculum content, and supporting students with a wide range of needs including:
✅ Autism (ASC)
✅ ADHD
✅ Mental health difficulties
✅ Complex needs
✅ Challenging behaviour
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support curriculum-based lessons such as English, Maths, Science and Sports.
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to meet students' EHCP targets
- Promote positive behaviour and use de-escalation techniques when needed
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO and wider team to support progress
- Create an inclusive and safe learning environment for all students
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in SEN settings, ideally within a school provision
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
- Confidence to lead learning activities and follow structured lesson plans
- A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
