Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to support students at a welcoming school in Dinnington. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in education, youth work, or social care who are passionate about promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them manage challenges and fully access their education. You will be part of a supportive team working to ensure every student feels safe, understood, and empowered to succeed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored behaviour interventions to students in and out of class.
- Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour support plans.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
- Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals where necessary.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a non-judgemental approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
