Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary Range: £160 to £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day or long-term, Part-time or full-time

GSL Education is searching for an enthusiastic SEMH Teacher to join a friendly school in Sheffield (S5). About the Role:
You will work with pupils with SEMH, Autism, and other SEND, developing personalised plans, creating engaging lessons, and supporting emotional well-being. Your role will be vital in creating a nurturing environment where students can reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement structured support programmes for pupils with special needs.
- Use varied teaching strategies to engage learners across different abilities.
- Promote social skills, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external specialists to refine support approaches.
- Track and report on progress, adjusting methods to maximise outcomes.
- Maintain an inclusive, safe, and stimulating classroom.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in SEN or SEMH settings.
- Knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practices.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork focus.
- A commitment to safeguarding policies.
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
