Location: Wakefield (WF3)
Salary Range: £160 to £250 per day (depending on your experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day or long-term, Part-time or full-time

About the Role:
You will work with pupils with SEMH, Autism, and other SEND, developing personalised plans, creating engaging lessons, and supporting emotional well-being. Your role will be vital in creating a nurturing environment where students can reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver bespoke learning programmes for pupils with SEMH and other SEN.
  • Employ flexible teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social skills development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to evaluate and improve support plans.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (such as QTS or equivalent).
  • Experience working with SEMH pupils or in SEN environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practices.
  • Empathetic, patient, and flexible approach.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Dedication to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
