Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Salary Range: £160-£250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate to complex learning difficulties. You will work collaboratively with support staff, external agencies, and families to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver personalised learning plans for pupils with SEN.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals.
- Track and report on pupil progress using EHCPs and school targets.
- Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour in class.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Job Requirements:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in an SEN or alternative provision setting.
- In-depth knowledge of a range of special educational needs, including strategies for differentiation.
- Experience in delivering personalised learning programmes and managing EHCPs in SEN schools in the UK.
- Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- A nurturing, creative, and flexible teaching approach tailored to individual learning styles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
