Job Title: Sports Coach

Salary Range: £95 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coach to join a vibrant school community in Sheffield, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120 depending on experience. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging sports sessions that promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence.
Role Overview:
As a Sports Coach, you will plan, organise, and lead sports activities for pupils of various ages and abilities. You will play a key role in encouraging participation, developing skills, and fostering a love of physical activity both during and beyond the school day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of pupils.
- Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour through sport.
- Support school sports programmes and extracurricular clubs.
- Encourage pupils to adopt healthy lifestyles and physical fitness.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external sports providers.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of various sports, techniques, and coaching methods.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Relevant sports coaching qualifications or certifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching Award) preferred.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
