SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Eastbourne
Pay: £90–£110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term; Full-Time

GSL Education are currently seeking nurturing SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools across Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN

  • Help children engage with classroom learning and develop social skills

  • Use visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support progress

  • Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour

  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and parents

  • Support with personal care, if required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN in school or care settings

  • A calm, proactive, and compassionate approach

  • Familiarity with EHCPs, autism strategies, or behaviour support techniques

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • Right to work in the UK
