Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentors to support students at multiple schools in Dinnington. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference across various educational settings, fostering positive behaviour and emotional growth.


About the Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will deliver tailored behavioural support to pupils in need. You’ll work closely with school staff to promote a safe, inclusive environment where students can develop confidence and resilience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges, helping them develop coping skills
  • Contributing to the delivery of individual behaviour and support plans
  • Building trusting, positive relationships to motivate pupils
  • Assisting during lessons, breaks, and extracurricular activities to ensure a positive atmosphere
  • Communicating with staff and parents to provide consistent support for pupils
  • Helping students enhance social skills and emotional regulation
  • Upholding safeguarding policies and promoting inclusive practices

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in schools, youth clubs, or community settings
  • Demonstrable patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Skill in de-escalating challenging behaviour
  • A genuine passion for supporting student wellbeing and development
  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Qualifications or experience in mentoring, youth work, or education is desirable
