Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach to work within a vibrant and inclusive school setting in Dinnington. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in sports or physical education who are looking to make a positive difference to student wellbeing, confidence, and development through active learning.
About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons, promote active lifestyles, and engage pupils through physical activities. You will work with students of varying abilities and needs, including those who may benefit from a more hands-on, movement-based approach to learning and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, structured physical activities and sports coaching sessions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
- Support the personal development and wellbeing of students through active participation.
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, and discipline through sports.
- Promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle across the school community.
- Monitor and report on student engagement, progress, and participation.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related discipline (minimum Level 2 preferred).
- Previous experience working with children or young people in schools or sports settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Understanding of how sport can support students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
- Ability to motivate, lead, and engage young learners effectively.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
