Salary: £120 – £180 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a passionate and creative Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school in Skegness. This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping pupils’ foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. You’ll create engaging and supportive lessons that encourage curiosity, confidence, and growth in young learners.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to wider school life and professional development activities.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and behaviour management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with KS1 experience.
  • A strong understanding of early primary curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting young learners.
  • ECTs are welcome and will be supported with tailored induction.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
