Job Title: Midday Supervisor (MDSA)
Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Midday Supervisor (MDSA) to join a primary school in Eastbourne. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who is reliable, friendly, and committed to pupil wellbeing—playing a key role during lunchtime to ensure children are cared for and supported.
About the School: The school promotes a calm, respectful atmosphere and encourages positive behaviour and inclusion. Staff work as a team to create a consistent, caring environment that supports every pupil’s development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground.
- Promote safe play and positive social interactions.
- Manage minor first aid incidents and report concern to appropriate staff.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in lunch areas.
- Encourage and model good manners, behaviour, and respect among pupils.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (in school, care, or similar settings) is desirable.
- A calm, caring, and observant approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
