Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) and Midday Supervisor (MSA)
Location: Hastings
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor (MSA) to work in a friendly and supportive school in Hastings. This full-time position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dual role—offering both academic support during lessons and ensuring a safe, happy lunchtime experience for pupils.

Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support for pupils, including one-to-one and small group assistance.
- Help the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and learning activities.
- Supervise pupils during lunch and break times, promoting safe play and positive interactions.
- Assist with the social and emotional development of pupils throughout the day.
- Encourage a respectful and inclusive environment across both classroom and playground settings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable.
- A calm, caring, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist with personal care if required.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
