Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham this September. This role is ideal for experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers who have a strong background in Religious Education and are committed to fostering student understanding and respect.
Role Overview:
As an RE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage students to explore diverse religious beliefs and ethical perspectives. You will be part of a collaborative department that values academic excellence and personal development.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach stimulating RE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue on complex religious and moral issues.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners at all levels.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities related to RE.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for RE.
- Experience teaching RE at any Key stages.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
