Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher with the ability to inspire young minds through history, geography, or RE?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Rotherham from September 2025. This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs with a strong subject background and enthusiasm for the humanities.
Role Overview:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will plan and deliver thought-provoking lessons across the humanities subjects, helping students to develop a deeper understanding of society, culture, and the world around them. You will be part of a supportive department that values collaboration, creativity, and high academic standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, or Religious Education, in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all students.
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and enquiry-based learning.
- Track and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in a humanities subject.
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more humanities disciplines.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of all students.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
