Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking to recruit a motivated and innovative Art Teacher to join a welcoming school in Rotherham this September. This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about art education and student development.
Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons that allow students to explore their creativity and develop key artistic skills. You will be joining a school that values the arts and supports a broad, balanced curriculum.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore different artistic techniques, media, and styles.
- Support the development of student portfolios and preparation for assessments.
- Promote creativity, critical thinking, and confidence through visual expression.
- Assess and monitor progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and art-related extracurricular activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment in line with safeguarding standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a subject specialism in Art.
- Sound knowledge of art history, techniques, and curriculum expectations.
- Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexible, creative, and committed to inclusive education.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
