GSL Education is currently looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving comprehensive secondary school based in Tower Hamlets. Responsibilities of the English Teacher:

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4

Plan, prepare and assess students’ work to track progress

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Support students with varying levels of ability

Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and resources

Participate in school events, parents’ evenings and CPD sessions
Requirements for the English Teacher Role:

Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in English or a related subject
-
Proven experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A passion for teaching and supporting young people
-
Able to commit to a long-term or permanent role starting in September 2025
