Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham (S62)
Pay Rate: £95 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in schools across Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to pupils’ academic progress and overall school experience in a supportive, structured setting.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support classroom activities and help deliver planned lessons effectively.
• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide tailored support to pupils with varying learning needs.
• Help manage behaviour in line with school policies and routines.
Requirements:
• Experience working in a primary school or educational environment.
• A positive and proactive attitude to supporting children’s development.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
