Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education is currently recruiting for a Primary School Teaching Assistant to work in schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom and make a meaningful difference in pupils' learning journeys.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across all subject areas.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who may need additional help.
• Encourage pupils' participation and engagement in learning activities.
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assist with classroom organisation and daily routines.
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in education.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
