About the Role:
As a General Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups. You’ll be expected to manage behaviour, ensure pupils remain on task, and provide a calm, consistent presence in the classroom. This is an ideal role for teachers who enjoy variety and want to gain experience in different school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school cultures.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and meet lesson objectives.

  • Provide feedback to staff regarding student progress and classroom activity.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching at secondary level in the UK.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • A full work history with references covering the last two years.
