Rate: £88.94 - £95 per day (based on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A welcoming primary school in Hull is looking for a committed and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their Key Stage 2 team this September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Role

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be a key part of the classroom team. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Supporting small group learning and delivering targeted interventions
  • Assisting with classroom routines and lesson preparation
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils stay engaged
  • Working alongside the class teacher to adapt learning strategies
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil development plans

What We’re Looking in General Teaching Assistant (TA)

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • A genuine interest in education and child development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
