Rate: £140 to £190 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time

About the Role:

As a Year 4 Classroom Teacher in Hull, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils. You will bring strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities of Year 4 Classroom Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
  • Promote a love of learning and encourage curiosity and creativity in the classroom.

What We’re Looking in Year 4 Classroom Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference.

  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
