Job Title: Early Career Teacher (Primary)
Location: Sheffield (S20)
Pay Rate: £120 – £180 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an Early Career Teacher looking to make a strong start in a nurturing primary school environment? GSL Education is supporting primary schools in Sheffield with openings for ECTs who are ready to apply their training, connect with pupils, and grow into confident professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
• Teach lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and curriculum-aligned.
• Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Track pupil progress and support differentiated learning needs.
• Work with mentors and colleagues to refine your teaching practice.
• Embrace ongoing learning and development opportunities.
Requirements:
• Recognised teaching qualification with QTS (suitable for ECTs).
• Strong understanding of primary education principles.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to grow professionally.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
