Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Daily Pay: £120 – £180 per day
Contract: Supply; Full or Part Time
Availability: September 2025 start

You’re an experienced or recently qualified Primary Teaching Assistant looking for the flexibility supply has to offer. You’re already a Primary Teaching Assistant looking to work with a recruitment provider who really cares about their staff. You’re a Primary Teaching Assistant looking to gain experience in different schools across the Grimsby area. If any of these apply to you, then we would love to hear from you!
GSL Education are an independent recruitment provider, currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Primary Supply Teacher in the Grimsby area. There are opportunities for daily, short and long-term work.
What working as a Primary Supply Teacher looks like:
- You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons to children alongside the primary national curriculum guidance
- You will create a stimulating and exciting learning environment where all children enjoy learning
- You will implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school behaviour policies
- You will work in a range of primary schools and year groups across the Grimsby area
Requirements as a Primary Supply Teacher:
- PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS); or equivalent qualification
- Recent experience working within a primary school
- Be knowledgeable of the national curriculum, principles, and practice
- Be able to tailor lessons to suit the needs of all children
- A child workforce, enhanced DBS on the Update Service; or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education itself
