EYFS Class Teacher - Bournemouth, Dorset

GSL Education are seeking a full-time EYFS Class Teacher to join a friendly and nurturing mainstream primary school in Bournemouth. This exciting opportunity begins in September 2025 and is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators passionate about early years education. Successful candidates will be invited for a school tour before proceeding to a formal interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a creative and engaging Early Years curriculum focused on holistic child development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
- Observe and assess pupils’ learning and progress in line with EYFS standards.
- Encourage strong communication, early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, supporting children’s learning both at school and at home.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to ensure all learners receive appropriate support.
Job Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience or training within an EYFS setting.
- A clear understanding of child development and early years milestones.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via GSL).
