Salary: £150–£230 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated ECT Primary Teacher to join a primary school in Rotherham starting this September 2025. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who is ready to inspire young learners and build strong foundations in the classroom.
Position Summary:
As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to students in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will be supported by experienced staff who will help guide you through your induction period and provide professional development opportunities. This is a fantastic chance to grow in a nurturing setting where your ideas, creativity, and energy are valued.
Your Responsibilities as an Early Career Teacher (ECT)—Primary:
- Plan and teach lessons that follow the national curriculum.
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Use assessments to track progress and guide next steps in learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, staff, and families to support pupil success.
- Take part in training, staff meetings, and wider school activities.
Role Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Willingness to learn, reflect, and develop through CPD.
- Ability to adapt to different school settings and student needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
