Are you an empathetic and skilled SEN Teacher looking to make a long-term difference in the lives of autistic pupils? A specialist SEN school in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their highly experienced team this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a structured, nurturing environment focused on supporting children and young people with autism through evidence-based approaches, personalised learning plans, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

The Role:

  • Full-time, long-term SEN teaching opportunity

  • Working across Primary or Secondary phases, depending on experience

  • Delivering structured teaching programmes aligned with EHCP targets

  • Collaborating closely with therapists, support staff and families

  • Maintaining a calm and consistent classroom to support emotional regulation and academic growth

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

  • Experienced in working with children or young people with autism or other complex needs

  • Committed to inclusive education and personalised learning

  • Skilled in positive behaviour support and communication strategies (e.g., PECS, Makaton, visual timetables)

  • Patient, consistent, and able to adapt to individual needs
